The initial consultation is basically a “tell us where it hurts” session. We assess the problem by looking at your strategic direction, operational efficiencies, critical business functions, skill sets, and environmental factors, including competition, industry trends, and target market as well as legal constraints.

The deep inquiry digs beyond the “what” in search of the “why.” Many “problems” are really just symptoms of something greater, and it is in the deep inquiry stage where we identify the real problem, call it by its name, and figure out a strategy with which to address it.

The optimum outcome is the one that most efficiently achieves the stated objective. Its success necessarily requires a holistic understanding of the business or project and an accurate Risk Assessment, Master Strategy, and Implementation Plan. The importance of Risk Assessment cannot be overstated since part of determining the feasibility of the optimum outcome is evaluating the potential risks and rewards. The Master Strategy must precisely define the optimum outcome and set forth a global strategy of how we intend to get there. And the Implementation Plan sets forth the support columns necessary to achieve the high-level goals of the Master Strategy as well as benchmarks with which to evaluate our progress and adjust as necessary.

By this point, we know where we are, where we want to be, and how we intend to get there, and now we need to make it happen. Through the use of benchmarks and internal controls, we move forward with the Implementation Plan, never losing sight of the Optimum Outcome, and make rapid yet informed adjustments as the circumstances dictate. Although you will be intimately involved in the entire process, should you choose to be, it is in this stage where we provide you with the tools necessary to manage your operation for the long-term. Many turnaround practitioners are known for their attempts to carve out a permanent place for themselves in their clients’ concerns going forward. However, we believe you are not truly successful until you no longer need us.

The timing and pricing of your project will vary by intensity and size. Whereas some of our projects have been on-going for years, others are fulfilled in a few short months. Our pricing is structured to meet your needs, and we will work with you to devise reasonable payment options, such as pay-for-performance, hourly rates, or ownership interests.
